The downtown Los Angeles skyline as photographed from Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park, with the buildings of East Hollywood visible in the foreground. This night shot of the buildings silhouetted against the post-sunset sky, appearing purple from the smog, reminds me of the movie Blade Runner.

Born in the UK, I moved to Vancouver, BC in 2011. My career in photography has grown from a long-held passion for capturing the beauty of the world, aided on the technical side by my background as a software developer. I specialise in fine art photography of landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes in and around the Pacific Northwest, with work exhibited internationally. Many of my photographs feature the beautiful city of Vancouver, but as well as capturing its iconic cityscapes, I can often be found exploring the BC and Washington coastline for new photographic opportunities, as well as developing my portfolio of night sky photographs featuring the Milky Way and the Aurora Borealis.
